How to access Device Manager

To get to the device manager to see if it has any bangs (a bang is a !, X or ? beside the device. It indicates a problem with the device) follow these steps.

You can get to the device manager via two different ways.

First method:

Go to control panel (This link will open in a different window)
Double-click on System
Click on Device Manager

Second method:

Right click on My Computer
Click on Properties
Click on Device Manager.

If there is a problem with a device, there will be an !, X, or a ? next to the device.

If there is a problem with a device, you will need to try to reload the driver for it. If you need help with it you can email me. Send me the name of the device that has a bang on it (a bang is an !, X or a ?)
