How to use About

About is the same thing as what System is called in Windows 8 Control Panel.

  1. PC name - is the name of the computer that you are on (Each PC name has to be unique, you cannot have two systems with the same PC name)

  2. Organization (was called Workgroup in older Windows) - In order for each system to communicate with each other, this name must match on each system.

  3. Join a domain - To join a network that uses server/workstations. This is usually in a corporate environment

  4. Join Asure AD - to join Asure AD. WIKIPEDIA says

    Microsoft Azure /ˈæʒər/ is a cloud computing platform and infrastructure, created by Microsoft, for building, deploying and managing applications and services through a global network of Microsoft-managed and Microsoft partner hosted datacenters. It provides both PaaS and IaaS services and supports many different programming languages, tools and frameworks, including both Microsoft-specific and third-party software and systems. Azure was announced in October 2008 and released on 1 February 2010 as Windows Azure, before being renamed to Microsoft Azure on 25 March 2014.[1]

  5. Edition - states what version of windows you are using

  6. Product ID - the ID of your windows

  7. Processor - States what the processor is that you are using

  8. Installed Ram - states how much memory you have

  9. System type - Informs you if you are using a 32 bit or 64 bit Windows

  10. Pen and touch - Informs you if you are using a Pen and Touch

  11. Change product key or upgrade your edition of Windows

  12. Read the Privacy Statement for Windows and Microsoft services

  13. Read the Microsoft Services Agreement that applies to our services

  14. Read the Microsoft Software License Terms
