  1. Connect to suggested open hotspots

You will no longer be automatically connected to open hotspots that Windows suggests because the service is no longer available.

On Windows 10 version 1709 or earlier, the Connect to suggested open hotspots setting will still appear in Settings  > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi on your Windows 10 PC, and in Settings  > Network & wireless > Wi-Fi > Additional settings on your Windows 10 phone. When the setting is turned on, you’ll still be connected to suggested open hotspots that you’ve connected to before. However, you won’t be connected to new suggested open hotspots automatically regardless of what it’s set to.

Open Wi-Fi networks will still appear in the list of available networks, and you can still connect to them on your own. However, because an open Wi-Fi network doesn't require a password to connect, anyone can connect to it. Other people might see info you send over the network. Be careful when doing things online that require personal or sensitive information, or wait until you can connect to a secured network that you trust before doing these things.

  1. Hotspot 2.0 networks

    1. Hotspot 2.0 networks might be available inn certain public places, like airports, hotels, and cafes.

    2. Let me use Online Sign-Up to get connected

    1. When this is turned on, you can see a list of network providers for Online Sign-up after you choose a Hotspot 2.0 network.
