How to find out the amount of hard drive space you have in Windows Vista and Windows 7

To get the amount of space used and free space, follow the following steps

Open My computer

if you want more detail than what my computer gives, do the following

Open My computer
Right click on the C Drive

Click on Properties
You will see more detailed information on the hard drive space

What is bytes - information on bit, bytes, kilobytes, megabytes, gigabytes, Terabytes and such
