How to verify Flash in Windows 8 is enabled

Flash is built into Internet Explorer in Windows 8

To enable Flash in Internet Explorer, do the following

Acccess Add-ons (Click the hyperlink for instructions)
Select Toolbars and Extensions

On the right look for Shockwave Flash Object under Microsoft Windows 3rd party Componet

On Status it will say Enabled or Disabled.

If you want to change it, right click on Disabled or Enabled and select the option you want.

Adobe says you will just have to restart Internet Explorer but I have found that the change will not take affect till you reboot the computer.
