Screen Orientation

Windows 7

Thanks to Kathleen from Smartcomputing.com for the information on shortcut keys for this feature.

You have the ability to rotate or flip your monitor screen on some systems (not all systems have this feature)

Sometimes you have a second screen that you need to change the orientation for. If this is the case, follow these steps

NOTE: as mentioned before, not all systems offer this feature. Also the steps to rotate or flip may be different on your system. Each video card software has it's own procedures so the ones here may be different than yours. However it may be similar enough to follow.

  1. Go to Display (Link will open in a separate window)

  2. Click Adjust resolution

  1. The Orientation allows you to flip or rotate the screen

NOTE: The above is only a few methods to rotate or flip your screen. Consult your video card manual.

There are also shortcut keys (they do not always work however)

Press the CTRL key, the Alt key and one of the arrow keys (Up, down, right and left ) to rotate the screen.
