Fix issue with Cache

If you are using Exchange and think the problem is with the cache, try turning cache off. If the problem goes away, then chances are, it is with the cache. A problem with cache can occur if an email gets corrupted.

After turning cache off, do the following

  1. Create a new folder under your inbox
  2. Move your mail from the original folder to the new one. Don't drag all your email at one time. Do a few at a time. If you have a corrupted email, you will receive an error.
    1. There are programs on the internet that claims to repair corrupted email. I have never used them, so I cannot say they are good or bad.
    2. If you are not able to repair the email, you will need to delete it in order to resolve the issue.
  3. Turn cache back on and see if the issue goes away.

If the above doesn't resolve your issue, try the E-mail Troubleshooter
