Burn ISO or NRG Image

When you want to create a backup copy of a disk, such as an install disk, music CD and such, you can create an ISO or Then if you lose the disk, you can burn a new disk with it.

  1. Access Nero 2017

  2. Put the disk in the drive that you want to make an image of

  3. Choose the type of disk you are using

   

  1. Choose the task that you want to do (if you chose CD above, it would say CD and not DVD. Same with Blu-ray)

   

  1. Set the settings for the project

   

  1. Click New

   

  1. Click Recorder

   

  1. Click Burn Image...

   

  1. Choose the file you want to burn to disk

   

  1. Click Open

   

  1. Put a blank disk in the drive (make sure it is the correct size for the image that you want to burn)

  1. Click Burn
